Superfeet Worldwide Inc. announced changes to its sales and marketing management team it said were prompted by recent personnel changes and the continued growth of the company’s international market.

Vice President of Sales Brad Parry will assume responsibility for both the North American and International markets, including Asia, effective immediately.  Superfeet currently distributes to over 40 countries, including the recently-established U.K. subsidiary.  Under the new sales structure, all U.S., Canadian and European sales managers will report directly to Parry.

Superfeet will fill the newly-created European sales manager role beginning Oct. 1, 2012 with the addition of Frits Kuper.  Kuper comes to Superfeet with experience in the footwear and sporting goods industries with Wolverine/Merrell, Sidas/Conform’able and Salomon.  He will oversee 15 European distributors and manage the UK sales team from his office in Amsterdam.

Randy Curran, one of five original owners and VP marketing since 2005, is stepping down in preparation for retirement next year.  Curran will continue working with Product Manager Dan Wakeland to develop new products, establish new research and development procedures, and complete several outstanding projects.  Until retirement, Curran will continue as a part of the senior management team, and will remain available to mentor and provide assistance to the marketing group.

Doug Geddes, general manager/national sales manager for Superfeet Canada Inc. since 2009, will assume the role of VP marketing at the company’s U.S. headquarters effective immediately.  Geddes will oversee brand marketing, research and development, communications, and sales training/education.  In addition to managing his own sales and marketing agency for Shimano Canada and Helly Hansen, Geddes was formerly director of sales and marketing for Protexion Products, and Ontario marketing manager for Seagram Canada.  He has additional sales management experience with The Vancouver Canucks’ hockey club and the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team.

John MacIntyre will assume the role of Canadian national sales manager at Superfeet Canada Inc., also effective immediately.  MacIntyre joins Superfeet from a strong background in sales management and customer service with previous positions with Canucks Sports and Entertainment, Hilti (Canada) Corporation and the Toronto Blue Jays baseball club.

“The changes in these key management positions reflect our evolving organizational structure and continued growth,” said President Bill McLean. “I am confident each person in their new role brings the experience and dedication necessary to drive our company to the next level.”
