Sunday Afternoons, an Oregon-based maker of headwear, has selected Sea to Summit as its exclusive distributor in Australia.

“International expansion is a priority for our long-term growth, and this partnership will allow us to meet the growing demand from Australian retailers for our products and to continue building our global presence,” said Angeline Lacy, President of Sunday Afternoons.

Sea to Summit is Australia’s largest integrated wholesale and retail distribution company serving the outdoor, sporting goods and lifestyle industries.  The company has deep roots in Australia’s outdoor retail landscape and has had incredible success growing brands there.

“We feel strongly that Sunday Afternoons has incredible potential for rapid growth, and we know that Australian consumers will be receptive to its outstanding products,” said Sea to Summit Brand Manager Pip Collins.

Sea to Summit’s corporate offices and operational facilities are located in East Perth, Australia.

Based in Southern Oregon, Sunday Afternoons is a family-owned design and product development house that manufactures hats and apparel. It was one of the first companies to manufacture UPF-rated sun blocking products in the nation.

Founders Angeline and Robbin Lacy came up with their first product idea, the Adventure Blanket, in 1990, followed by the Adventure Hat in 1996 – all while doing what they love: being outdoors with their family on Sunday afternoons. Sunday Afternoons’ business model includes healthy living, supporting an ecological environment, assisting in third world improvements, and upholding a positive (and dog-friendly) work environment.
