Specialized Bicycle Components launched a version of the popular bicycle-specific social media site Strava to select Specialized retailers in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
Specialized has been working closely with Strava to create an extension to its social media platform that retailers can use to build their own community, communicate with service customers and inspire more people to ride bikes. Both brands are aligned on focusing on rider needs and delivering real performance benefits.
“Strava Shop Pages” are customized with each retailer’s unique information and offer a rider leaderboard, which shows the customers out riding the most. The service will be available to all bike retailers later in the year.
