SnL Communications, the Los Angeles-based public
relations company, has been representing clients who are influential in the fashion and action sports markets for over 16 years. To further its growth and continue momentum, the company has increased its client base,
added new staff and will double its office size when it moves to a new, larger location.
Recently, SnL added six new clients to its valued client base:
- SG Magazine's Queen of Surf and Queen of the Mountain events
- Speechless, a junior and girls sportswear brand
- See Thru Soul, a specialty denim brand
- YMI Jeanswear, a junior sportswear denim brand
- Incase, makers of carrying solutions for electronic and music related products
- etnies Girl, a skate-inspired junior sportswear
brand.
In addition to new clients, the agency has hired two dynamic people who
bring expertise and enthusiasm to the burgeoning agency.
Dina De
Fazio, senior account executive, is managing all clients under the area
of fashion. De Fazio brings over 10 years of sportswear and fashion
industry experience, having previously managed public relations for
ASICS America Corporation, also makers of the Onitsuka Tiger shoes, for
nearly six years. Prior to ASICS, she worked with brands under
Authentic Fitness Corporation and entertainment licensors through Time
Warner Inc.
Dawn Boekermann, account executive, works on specific
clients under the area of action sports. Boeckermann brings more than
six years of public relations experience coming from Metropolitan Group,
a full-service communications agency in Portland, Oregon, where she
handled marketing and public relations for a vast array of clients.
Prior to that, she worked in the marketing and promotions department at
Clear Channel Entertainment.
Together they will collaborate on aligning
programs and opportunities to complement client objectives.
In response to the recent retirement of founding partner Lori Newman,
the company has slightly altered its official name to SnL Communications
(Schneider and Levine). This reflects the union of current partners
Karen Schneider and Staci Levine.
“SnL is on a constant upswing and business is steady and strong,” says
Karen Schneider, partner. “We are committed to the growth of our
clients' brands and to supporting both the West Coast fashion and action
sports industries,” says Staci Levine, partner.
As of October 1, 2004, SnL Communications offices will double its size
and move into a brand new suite just a few doors down from its existing
suite.
