Following six successful years as partner/design director at the industrial design firm “Generator Design Solutions Inc.” Matt Hexemer has accepted the position of Design Director with Sims Snowboards. “Matt has provided the
04/05 “Sims” boot and “Link” binding program with a dose of style and innovation from his consultancy. “We cant wait to bring his vision inside to direct our full line” says Sims Director of Product, Darren Robinson.
“Providing technical and creative design to the industry for eight years and riding for 14 creates a seamless fit with the Sims group.” said a Sims spokesperson. Matt has worked on product development and environments for brands including Bakoda, Scott USA, Nike, and Burtons Red program. Matt has also been the creative component in advanced research groups. Collaborating with engineers, scientists and marketing groups regarding ozone purification technologies and fuel cell implication into consumer lifestyles. Matt said he that is looking forward to joining the momentum at Sims, staying focused on a consistent brand message and contagious, user focused product design.
