Shimano North America Fishing reported adding to its Curado line of low-profile baitcasting reels with the Curado 200 M, which will debut at the upcoming ICAST Show, Booth #2144, in Orlando, FL.
Curado 200 M inherits Shimano’s latest reel technologies for power fishing. “We are thrilled to introduce the Curado 200 M reel to our passionate community of anglers,” said Freshwater Product Marketing Manager Bob Mahoney. “With its exceptional features and superior performance, the Curado 200 M represents an indispensable tool for bass anglers incorporating heavier line, lures and long casting applications.”
The Curado 200 M boasts expanded line capacity due to Shimano’s MagnumLite (MGL) Spool III to reduce start-up inertia. The addition of SilentTune technology improves spool quietness during casts. SVS Infinity braking technology provides precision casting with easy-to-manage, consistent spool control and brake force adjustments when faced with demanding conditions or switching between baits.
The Curado 200 M features an aluminum Hagane body for rigidity to increase cranking power and overall reeling efficiency. MicroModule Gear, Cross Carbon Drag and X-Ship deliver smoothness, durability and versatility for which the Curado is known for having.
