Sheri Poe Out at MBT

MBT reports that Sheri Poe will no longer serve as CEO of U.S. operations. Ken Pucker, who was named interim global CEO in early November, will assume her responsibilities for managing the U.S. entity of MBT. Poe, who founded the Ryka brand in 1987, joined MBT as head of U.S. operations in June 2007.

In November 2008, Global CEO Richard Litzel stepped down and was replaced on an interim basis by Pucker, former COO of Timberland. Also joining the company at that time was Marc Estor, who was named VP for sales and marketing and is based in Romanshorn, Switzerland. Most recently, Estor served as global division director, performance at Ecco, where he supervised process steering for design, development, sourcing, allocation and implementation.

MBT, the Swiss footwear maker, announced that Sheri Poe will no longer serve as CEO of US Operations, effective immediately. Ken Pucker, who was named interim Global CEO in early November, will assume her responsibilities for managing the US entity of MBT.


Poe, who founded the Ryka brand in 1987, joined MBT as head of U.S. U.S. operations in June 2007.

The MBT line is a wholly owned subsidiary of Masai Group International, Ltd, and was introduced into the U.S. market in 2003. U.S. headquarters are based in Venice, CA; operations are based in Hailey, ID.
