Sea to Summit, manufacturer of backpacking and travel accessories, experienced 120-percent growth in 2003.
On the heels of this success, Sea to Summit principle Andrew Dunbar expanded the product offerings in the Sea to Summit line to the U.S. market and announced the hiring of four independent rep groups.

“The decision to partner with reps that already have strong, well-established lines was an early goal for Sea to Summit, but one that was not immediately realized,” Dunbar said.

“When we first began in the States six years ago, we didn’t have the range of products or the established sales clout to attract the best reps. With our recent growth, we were able to sign on some of the most experienced and well-respected sales reps in the outdoor industry.”

The Sea to Summit product line is catching like wildfire in the U.S. marketplace, as core retailers are embracing its authentic heritage and cutting-edge, unique designs. For the past fifteen years, Sea to Summit has been the leading designer and manufacturer of backpacking and travel accessories in Australia. Adventurer and alpinist Tim McCartney-Snape, a founder of the company, was the first person to climb Mt. Everest in the most light and fast style, beginning from the Bay of Bengal.

“We wanted the professionalism and the core values of our reps to match our brand, which is quite prominent in the Australian market,” Dunbar said. Nearly all of the new rep groups are well known in the climbing industry as well.

Here are the new rep groups for Sea to Summit:
