Sea to Summit appointed former Nestlé SVP Wayne England as the new chair of the company’s Board of Directors.
England was described in a company release “as an accomplished executive, with a distinguished career in the consumer goods industry. The company said he has a diverse skill set and a proven track record of success and brings a wealth of global experience to the boardroom.”
Throughout his career, England has reportedly held multiple executive and non-executive positions in multinational global consumer goods companies, most notably for 41 years at Nestlé. He is said to have been “instrumental in driving market entry, spearheading innovation processes and structures, managing research and development efforts, engaging in venture investments, and exploring emerging markets. Moreover, he has played a pivotal role in orchestrating successful mergers and acquisitions and managing complex change initiatives.”
England is set to retire from Nestlé, and will progressively spend more time in Sydney with family.
“We are delighted to welcome Wayne England to our Board as Chair,” said Sea to Summit CEO Greg Dupont. “His leadership in the consumer goods industry, coupled with his extensive experience as a Board member, make him a valuable addition to both our Leadership Team as well as our Board. We are confident that he will bring invaluable insights and contribute significantly to Sea to Summit’s continued success.”
As Sea to Summit continues to expand its global presence, England is expected to play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making and strengthening the brand’s commitment to sustainability and responsible growth.
