Saucony, a division of Wolverine Worldwide, Inc., announced the promotion of Joe Toth to the position of vice president of U.S. sales.

In his new role, Toth, formerly general manager of Saucony Canada, will oversee all facets of U.S. footwear and apparel sales, including long-range planning, go-to-market strategies and building successful partner relationships within the U.S. region. Effective immediately, Toth will report directly to Anne Cavassa, president of Saucony.

Toth is a results-oriented professional with over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, management, and operations. Since joining Saucony in 2013, Toth has acquired a deep understanding of the running business and developed valuable relationships within the running industry−successfully influencing a variety of growth initiatives for the brand. Most recently, Toth served as general manager of Saucony Canada where he oversaw the strategy and execution for all aspects of the brand’s Canadian business. Prior to that, he was key accounts sales manager for the Canadian region where he was responsible for managing strategic customer accounts at a national level while building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with key customers.

Toth began his career with Saucony as field sales Manager for Canada, successfully increasing sales with the country’s independent retailers while maintaining growth in the run specialty and sporting goods channels. Toth earned an Advanced Diploma (OCAD) in Business Administration/Marketing at Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ontario, Canada. Toth will be based in Saucony’s Boston headquarters.

Saucony also announced the appointment of Courtney Moore to the position of director of sales for the East, effective immediately. In his new position, Moore will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans and programs in collaboration with customer partners located in the Eastern region of the United States. Moore will report directly to Joe Toth, Vice President of U.S. Sales.

Moore comes to the brand after a 15-year sales management career in outdoor and sporting goods consumer products. Most recently, Moore was sales director of national accounts for Confluence Outdoor where he developed a history of exceeding targets, growing market share, and establishing a culture of engagement and customer service with specialty retail partners. While at Confluence Outdoor, Moore was awarded 2016 Top Sales Performance, Key Accounts. Moore has a B.A. in History from the University of Iowa.
