Saucony showcased the Endorphin Pro 3 during Parish Fashion Week on June 21 at the Saucony House of Speed.
Its most cushioned carbon-plated running shoe in the Endorphin Collection, the Endorphin Pro 3, is engineered with Saucony’s Speedroll technology, a carbon-fiber plate with a thicker stack of PwrRun PB foam. These features work together to offer more cushion and pop underfoot.
At this year’s Boston Marathon, Saucony was the number two brand of race day shoe worn by runners, and four of the top five shoes worn at the race were plated, with the Endorphin Collection’s Pro and Speed models holding two of those spots.
“The Boston race is a great place to see what’s trending in marathon running footwear,” said Brian Moore, senior vice president of global product for Saucony. “For the marathon runner, shoe choice is monumental, and we’re honored to be a top choice of participants. Combining carbon plates with PwrRun PB is a game-changer, and Saucony is leading the pack in providing an accessible carbon-plated shoe for all runners looking for an edge when performance matters. Taking cues in its upper construction from developments we made in the Endorphin Pro+, the Endorphin Pro 3 is made to go fast with technical advancements throughout that include a 39.5mm stack of PwrRun PB foam for a fun, bouncy, propel-you-forward ride with every stride. And while the shoe meets the criteria for the most elite racers, its accessible design, more underfoot cushioning and comfortable fit will appeal to all levels of runners looking for a high-performance experience.
A short walk from the House of Speed in Paris, the Saucony House of Originals showcases the brand’s SS23 lifestyle heritage collection for trade, media and social influencers. On June 22, the brand celebrated the prelaunch of the 3D G.R.I.D. Hurricane retro during a public event at Footpatrol Paris.
“We look forward to unveiling the new Endorphin Pro 3 at Paris Fashion Week. This will be the first time we have the two parts of the brand come together as one — performance and Originals — at a major city’s fashion event, bringing to life the brand’s leadership in innovation, design and heritage. By launching at a renowned industry event, this power shoe puts a stake in the ground for reaching across the aisle in performance footwear and engages runners on multiple levels,” added Moore.
In addition to the Endorphin Pro 3, the updated Endorphin Collection includes the Endorphin Speed 3 with a reimagined nylon winged plate for better support; the Endorphin Shift 3 with a fully redesigned upper for a more comfortable fit and the Endorphin Edge trail runner with an intuitive and flexible Carbitex AFX three-quarter carbon plate for ground feel.
The collection is available in select global markets. In the U.S., launch dates are Endorphin Pro 3 beginning August 2; Endorphin Speed 3 beginning August 16; and Endorphin Shift 3 beginning October 4. The Endorphin Edge trail shoe is available in early fall.
The Endorphin Collection is available in men’s sizes 7 to 15 and women’s sizes 5 to 12. For more product information, go here.
