Salomon USA named Nora Stowell as its new apparel manager. She most recently was the Division Manager for Völkl Performance Wear., managing the business over the past four years in the US. 


Stowell began her career at Boulder Gear Ski and Snowboard Apparel, working her way up to Sales & Marketing Director.  Nora then moved on to New Balance as a Sales Planning Manager, where Salomon said she played an integral role in the business plan development and implemented programs to reduce excess inventory levels.  She most recently was the Division Manager for Völkl Performance Wear – pioneering the brand and managing the business over the past four years in the US.

In addition to her extensive knowledge of the sporting goods industry, Stowell also brings a personal passion for outdoor sports to the job.  In college, she was captain of the Dartmouth Women’s Alpine Ski Team, earning the college’s special inspirational award.  Stowell also is an avid nordic skier, cyclist, runner and hiker.
