RVCA Clothing has appointed Dan Levine as president. Dan joins RVCA after 4 years with Hurley International where he held the positions of VP of new business development and VP of merchandising and design.

Dan comes to RVCA from Hurley International where he was instrumental in the re-launch and repositioning of Hurley Accessories, Hurley Kids, and Hurley Swimwear. Dan's talent for merchandising and product design helped place Hurley as a product leader in the action sports industry.


Dan acknowledges the vast opportunity that lies ahead of RVCA, and states that “RVCA is a vibrant, culturally rich brand with a tremendous fan base. I have greatly admired RVCA’s support of the arts with their ANP program and RVCA's cutting edge style.”


Dan’s experience is diverse including retail, wholesale, and as well as the outdoor industry and action sports industry. Dan led outdoor industry leader REI's private label division winning several Outdoor Industry product awards from consumer trade magazines. The early years of Dan's career were spent working closely with Mickey Drexler at Gap, Inc in the Banana Republic and Gap divisions.
