Rocky Shoes & Boots is cashing in on an expanded defense budget with a $6.1 million deal to produce boots for the U.S. Military. The agreement is not cancelable and is accretive to earnings.
RCKY was able to land the deal because of a partnership with Bellville Shoe Manufacturing Company, who will be manufacturing and shipping the boots out of their factory in Puerto Rico. Delivery to the U.S. military will begin in December of this year.
