For the 05/06 Season, Rides HP Construction now features a new design that is one full size shorter in external length than standard constructions. Less length means less material, less weight, and less toe drag. And with HP Construction, the Phylon Midsole is built directly to the liner, eliminating the hard layer found in standard construction boots.
Rides exclusive Body Active Foam, found all the way down the line to the new Deuce, provides an ultra-light, precise fit that custom forms to every detail of the foot after wearing the boot for a few days with no heating required. Once formed, the foam remains shaped to the foot providing cush contact, and the super-light material creates an overall feather-light boot.
The Spark thru Onyx models now feature Rides all-new Integrated Construction, which cuts excess length and weight while maintaining support and comfort. This construction is ultra-lightweight and the external length of the boot is two full sizes shorter than standard snowboard boots. The liner exists and is visible, but is secured into the boot in the forefoot and heel.
An additional feature that now spans the entire boot line is Rides patent-pending Lace Slider with Locking Tab. The Locking Tab on the liner tongue allows the quick snapping of the Lace Slider on and off. Snap-on to anchor the Lace Slider and completely close the liner with a single pull of the lace, with exiting just as easy.
Rides Amp, Aurora and Fuse have the new Full-Height Body Active Liner Foam for a lightweight custom fit and the new HP Construction shrinking them a full size shorter in length. The Amp and Aurora also feature new Deep Draw 2-to-1 Lacing, which anchors deep in the shell for heel hold and ankle support. The Fuse and Riot boots now feature Rides new Active Heel Closure, a balanced lacing system that automatically activates to close both the front and heel of the liner. The Riot also has a new Removable Tongue Stiffener.
The all-new Deuce and Onyx combine Rides new Integrated Construction and Full-Height Body Active Foam with Dri-Lex Moisture Management, Aegis Anti-Microbial Coating and Thinsulate Ultra Insulation for men and women, respectively. The new Anthem and Sage offer a variety of performance advantages for men and women, respectively, for all-mountain mobility riding.
