Ride Snowboards said Kendra Langston has become its lead rep in the northern California and northern Nevada regions after four years of working as a part-time rep for the company.

Langston has worked as a part-time rep for Ride since 2010.

“Kendra has a sharp knowledge of the brand, product, and region that it was a no-brainer to bring her on in a more full-time role at Ride,” said Shawn Penrod, U.S. sales and marketing manager at Ride. “Her passion for riding makes Kendra a perfect fit, and the relationships she has made over the years with retailers and consumers is a great foundation to build off of as she moves into her new sales position.”

Supporting Ride’s sales and brand relations in a region that has a strong snowboard population, Langston will focus solely on the Ride brand and will be in shops and on the hill as much as possible. Her love of snowboarding launched her into the rep profession in the first place, and when not involved in business Langston is shredding, traveling (her goal is to hit every continent by age 30), and hanging with her dog Nanook.

“Ride is the company that I grew up wanting to be a part of,” said Langston, who will be based in Lake Tahoe, CA. “I have been on the product and/or involved somehow for years so it is a dream come true to officially be part of the team. As a female who has spent the better part of my life immersed in the snowboard culture, I think I offer a unique and very relevant perspective to this sport and I’m excited to work with Ride as they evolve and grow.”
