Puma’s first basketball silhouette in more than 20 years, the Clyde Court Disrupt, launches at retail on Thursday. The sneaker debuted on court this summer with the Puma Hoops squad including Marvin Bagley III, Zhaire Smith, Michael Porter Jr. and Skylar Diggins-Smith. The color is intentionally aggressive.
The designers, inspired by the spirit of Walt Frazier, designed the basketball sneaker to have a lightweight knit upper for flexibility and they incorporated Puma’s Hybrid Foam technology into the outsole for responsive cushioning during impact and quick response time.
