The New York Post is reporting this morning that Foot Locker, Inc. Chairman and CEO Matt Serra may be ready to hang up his sneakers after nearly ten years at the helm.  The Post said it had learned that Mr. Serra is “gearing up for retirement” and noted his contract expires in January.

The Post said that, “Foot Locker's board, chaired by the 64-year-old Serra, has hired executive-search firm Spencer Stuart to find a new chief, sources said. The retailer already has interviewed external candidates, although people close to the company say an insider may be tapped.”
