REI launched its iPhone application onto the Android platform, enabling its customers to research and purchase gear, check out product information and reviews, look up their REI member number and dividend, and much more, from Android smartphones.

Now available on Android, the REI app includes:
- Product Research: Check out product information, specs and customer reviews
- Easy Purchases: Buy products to help customers enjoy their next outdoor adventure
- Store Locator: Find favorite gear and apparel at a local REI
- Member Number and Dividend: Easily look up your member number and dividend
Available now, the REI App for Android is free in the Android Market or accessible by clicking on the QR code provided by REI at http://www.rei.com/apps.
REI partnered with fellow Seattle-area company Übermind, a digital agency specializing in mobile and emerging technologies, to launch the app.
