REI Co-op will open its Tallahassee, FL store on November 11. Located at 1415 Timberlane Road at Market Square, the store offers 22,000 square feet of space.
“Our Tallahassee team is the first store in the Panhandle and seventh in the state,” said Chelsea Vensel, REI store manager. “Whether someone is interested in learning a new activity or a well-seasoned adventurer, we aspire to be at the center of people’s active lifestyles and look forward to supporting the local outdoor community.”
Timed with the Tallahassee store opening, REI said it would invest $20,000 in nonprofits working in the region.
The Tallahassee joins six other REI Co-op stores in Florida, including – Boca Raton, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Palm Beach Gardens, Tampa , and Winter Park. REI has 178 brick-and-mortar locations.
