The Outdoor Industries Womens Coalition is happy to announce Jerry Stritzke, President and CEO of REI, as the featured speaker at OIWCs Keynote and Leadership Awards Presentation at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market on Jan. 23, 2015 at 7 a.m. at the Marriott Downtown, Salt Lake City, UT.
OIWCs Keynote Presentation provides a platform for industry leaders to share best practices around business strategy, sustainability, innovation, and leadership diversity in the workplace.
OIWC recognizes REI for its work to help people access and enjoy the outdoors, and for being one of a few leading employers on Fortunes 100 Best list since its inception. During his keynote, Jerry will talk about the factors that help small and large businesses succeed as the sector changes.
As a lifelong outdoor enthusiast, Jerry enjoys hiking, fly fishing and rafting. Each year he has a goal of summiting one of Colorados 14,000-foot mountain peaks. In September, he summited Mt. Rainier alongside REI employees from its retail stores and headquarters.
