Reebok signed UFC fighter Conor McGregor to a multi-million dollar deal, according to ESPN. The deal is reportedly worth at least $5 million.
McGregor also signed a one-year renewal with drinks brand Monster Energy as well as a new eight-fight deal with the UFC. Both Monster and Reebok are official UFC sponsors.
The deals were signed before his comeback fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov last Friday. McGregor lost the fight by submission in the fourth round. But the hype around the comeback shows the MMA fighter remains UFC’s star attraction.
Until his fight with Nurmagomedov, McGregor had not fought in the UFC since 2016, when he switched to boxing to take on former world welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather last year.
