Brian Cupps, former general manager and global director of marketing
for Reebok International, has joined Amplify Sports and Entertainment
as vice president and group account director. Amplify Sports and
Entertainment specializes in strategic sponsorship consultation,
activation and measurement analysis.
Cupps will become a senior member of the Amplify team providing
strategic direction and driving effective marketing initiatives for
clients such as: Absolut Vodka, Cruzan Rum, Medco Health Solutions,
Inc., Allergan, and National Grid.
At Reebok, Cupps oversaw all aspects of the basketball retail industry,
including, athletic footwear, apparel, equipment, and accessory
companies. Additionally, Cupps was responsible for developing strategic
direction for the business unit while facilitating global marketing,
sports marketing and go-to-marketing strategies.
Earlier in his career, Cupps served as director of sports marketing for
AND 1 basketball. During his tenure at AND 1, Cupps developed and
executed strategic global marketing programs to leverage professional,
amateur and international basketball endorsement assets.
