Recco, the manufacturer of advanced rescue technology, hired Billy Treacy as North American sales manager as it continues its expansion into the North American market and four-season usage.
Treacy’s background includes roles in both sales and as a rescue professional. He worked as the sales director for Easton Bell Sports, as a senior sales manager for Under Armour Performance, as a sales and sports marketing rep for Oakley, and as a pro ski patroller at Brighton.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Billy into the Recco family,” said Recco’s CEO, Fredrik Steinwall. “With our brand partnerships in the U.S. and Canada only continuing to grow each season, we knew we needed someone like Billy, with a wealth of experience, to represent our brand in North America. Now that we have a growing amount of summer partners, we knew it was time to bring a North American sales manager on board. We believe he’ll do great things for our company and are excited to see what the future holds.”
Recco reflectors are integrated into outdoor clothing and equipment, including helmets, backpacks and hiking shoes with over 150 brand partners, including Jack Wolfskin, Arc’teryx, Helly Hansen, Patagonia, and POC.
