Sea to Summit has issued a voluntary recall of its Alpha and Sigma camp pots and will provide a field replacement latch to remedy all affected products.

A potential safety hazard has been identified with the second generation of the Alpha and Sigma pot range which features a black nylon latch. If the latch is not engaged properly, it can create the possibility of the pot becoming unstable, potentially causing the pot’s contents to spill unexpectedly.

Owners of Alpha or Sigma Pots should immediately stop using the pot if it has a black Nylon latch without a screw located under the pot handle.

For more information, visit Sea to Summit’s product safety page, here. Affected customers can request free replacement latches at no cost here.

The company has notified regulatory authorities in the U.S. and Canada of the issue and is working in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on this voluntary recall and corrective action plan.

Consumers and retailers with questions should email Sea to Summit at productsafety@seatosummit.com.
