Burley announced it is working with the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) to recall Ballz QR Skewers shipped between August 2018 and June 2021.
This announcement specifically pertains to the Burley Ballz QR skewers that were sold as individual components and Ballz QR Skewers that were included in the sale of the Coho XC Trailer (Model No. 935101).
Burley will replace the affected Ballz QR Skewer free of charge to its customers.
Customers are asked to stop using the Ballz QR Skewer immediately and contact Burley to receive instructions on how to dispose of the skewer and how to receive a replacement. Replacement Skewers will be available in September 2021.
