Rebel Sport Limited’s group sales revenue for the three months ended October 1, 2005 increased 7.3% to AU$77.8 million ($59.1 mm) when compared to the same quarter last year, including sales revenue from the Glue lifestyle stores.

Sales on a same store basis increased by 2.4%.

Sales performance in Rebel Sport stores for the quarter was pleasing, particularly given the strong comparative for the prior period (same store sales growth for the
three months ended October 2, 2004 was 7.9%). Further, the clean-up of our inventory during the 2005 financial year has reaped rewards with improvements in gross margin achieved during the 3 months to October 1, 2005.

During the quarter ended October 1, 2005, Rebel Sport opened three new stores in Midland Gate (Western Australia), Carindale (Queensland) and Mt Druitt (New South
Wales). A further Glue store was also opened in Tuggerah (New South Wales).

In the quarter to December 2005, Rebel Sport will open a further three stores in Rockingham (Western Australia – opened 6 October 2005), Shepparton and Fountain Gate (Victoria). Rebel Sport Limited currently has 60 Rebel Sport stores and 9 Glue stores.
