RE/MAX, one of the world’s leading franchisors of real estate brokerage services, and Motto Mortgage announced the hiring of Kerry McGovern as vice president, communications.
McGovern was most recently at Under Armour as principal, strategy & projects, She worked directly with the CEO as and served as a founding member of the brand’s corporate communications team.
She was also the senior director of communications and media for Drizly, Inc., a start-up alcohol delivery app that has since become one of the world’s largest alcohol marketplaces. Prior to her time at Drizly, she served as the director of communications at the National Hockey League (NHL) and led corporate storytelling for the league around business successes, product launches and tentpole events, including the NHL Winter Classic, Stanley Cup Playoffs and NHL All-Star Game.
She will oversee all internal and external communications, including PR and social media. Her leadership will elevate the quality and consistency of critical messaging for both brands.
RE/MAX also hired Jerry Modes as senior vice president, information technology.
