PUMA announced the latest addition to their North American retail family, capping of a year of intense expansion. The capitol of Silicon Valley will welcome a PUMA concept store to the Valley Fair Mall on December 12th.
Located on Stevens Creek Boulevard in San Jose the PUMA store will be a retail destination haven for area residents, visitors and college students alike. The opening will be a final highlight for 2003, an extraordinary year for the company. PUMA began its selective global retail rollout in 2001, and the San Jose local is the 11th concept store to open in North America.
“Our retail stores give consumers a snapshot of the PUMA brand, from the design to the product selection, every detail is chosen to communicate our aesthetic and direction,” said Tom Ulrich, Vice President of Retail, PUMA North America. “The San Jose area boasts an eclectic citizenship from around the world making it a choice locale for our newest store.”
The contemporary designed 3046 square meter (9,900 square foot) Sportlifestyle store was created to highlight PUMA's fashion and performance footwear, apparel and accessories in a sleek minimalist surrounding. The range of product offerings will introduce PUMA's distinctive fusion of sports, lifestyle and fashion to the traditional sporting goods market in San Jose.
