Propain Bicycles has moved its U.S. office and operations to Vancouver, WA to support its growth.

From this location, Propain plans to increase its production and ship bikes in the U.S., with the long-term goal of also shipping products into Canada and Mexico.

With its office and production located in the U.S., Propain said it would be able to service the U.S. market faster and have its bikes available and customizable like they are in Germany.

Propain hired industry veteran Victor Sandrin as executive vice president to complete the company’s setup of its sales office and production line.

“I have been really impressed by the evolution of Propain Bicycles over the past couple of years. They came up on my radar in a big way when they initially started selling in the U.S. last year and signed Remy Metallier. The bikes look great, the suspension works extremely well and the vibe of the company is fantastic. They all ride and have a passion for making the best bikes,” said Sandrin.

“I have had experience with bringing a European brand to the U.S. market, and I am very excited to help take Propain to the next level here in the U.S. After visiting the German headquarters in June and seeing the operations, I am really impressed by the organization and the vision of the brand. It’s going to be fun to showcase this great brand to the North American market.”

“With the newly founded entity Propain Bicycles USA, we will be able to offer the same outstanding level of customer service as we do in Europe. We are so happy having Victor on board as he shares the same philosophy Propain stands for, and we are sure to have found the right guy to represent the brand and help grow the organization in a very successful way in North America,” said Volker Knaus, global director sales, customer service, Propain Bicycles.
