Primus, the Swedish cooking equipment brand, introduced its Feed Zone collection, available in Spring 2023. Highlights include a compact stove, coffee and tea press and double-walled steel mug. The system packs into a rolltop bag that attaches to bike frames and handlebars or fits in panniers.
“Meal bars and gels are fine, but why not enjoy some real food out on the bike?” said Primus’ Head of Product and Supply Chain Niklas Liljedahl. “The Primus Feed Zone Collection enables cyclists to easily enjoy a cup of coffee on the go or even a full meal and only weighs 2 pounds including the stove, coffee press, mug, and rolltop bag.”
The Feed Zone Collection includes:
- Lite Plus Stove – A compact and lightweight stove system that can feed 1-to-2 people and offers efficient heating. The aluminum 0.5-liter pot attaches and locks to the burner with a twist, and the Piezo igniter lights the stove with a push of a button. 14.1 oz.,
- Coffee and Tea Press – This collapsible press turns the Lite Plus Stove system into a French press for coffee and tea. The press unscrews to pack flat into the Feed Zone’s rolltop bag with other stove accessories. 1.4 oz.
- Koppen Mug – Designed to maintain hot or cold drink temperatures, the mug is made from food-grade stainless steel. The lid keeps beverages in place, while a small opening allows drink access, and the hinged handles fold flat for compact packing. 7.5 oz.
- Rolltop Bag – Keep cooking equipment clean and organized when riding; this waterproof rolltop bag stores the Feed Zone collection and can be attached to the bike frame for easy access or inserted into a pannier. 2.8 oz.
Additional products in the Feed Zone collection include a titanium Trail Spork, Long Spoon, Bike Bottle, Klunken Bottle, and Cycling Cap.
