Primark, the international value fashion retailer, opened a new store in City Point, Brooklyn, NY.
The retailer opened two additional New York locations, bringing its total New York store count to five stores. The Fulton Street store at City Point is Primark’s 16th store in the U.S. and is part of the retailer’s U.S. growth plan to reach 60 stores by 2026.
“New Yorkers have been experiencing ‘Primania’ more than ever this season, and we are so excited to add the City Point community to our growing family here in the U.S.,” said Kevin Tulip, president, Primark U.S. “The customer reaction to our four other NY-metro stores has shown that there is an overwhelming desire for Primark’s offering and price leadership, and this location will allow us to bring that to an influential group of shoppers in Brooklyn and one subway stop away in Manhattan.”
Primark City Point boasts 49,000 square feet of retail space and the brand’s 416th store. It is one of ten new U.S. Primark stores set to open in the next year, nearly doubling its selling space in the U.S.
