Xtratuf, the footwear manufacturer for over 60 years, has expanded on its eco-conscious product offerings for S23 with its Après Fish and Sharkbyte 2.0 Eco.

The Après Fish, shown right, is a one-piece slide made of Bio Lite, a low-compression, high-performance EVA foam that delivers impact absorption and support. It is non-marking and has an SRC-rated slip-resistant outsole.

“The Après Fish is not your typical, everyday slide. Every element is meant to serve as a thoughtful solution for fishermen,” said Alex Becker, Xtratuf marketing manager. “In developing it, we focused on next-level comfort, sustainably-minded design and wearer safety, which is always a priority for us. The Xtratuf Après Fish and Sharkbyte styles are the only casual shoes on the market with an SRC rating—the highest level of slip resistance you can get in a slip-on shoe.”

The Sharkbyte 2.0 ECO, shown right, features a Pro Lite one-piece outsole, making it 30 percent lighter than previous Sharkbyte styles and offers high energy return with the traction benefits of Xtratuf footwear. The upper is constructed from a Repreve Our Ocean textile made from ocean-bound plastic bottles and treated with a DWR water-repellent coating for added water resistance.
