The VSSL Essentials collection includes four multi-use gear kits housed in waterproof, indestructible aluminum vessels that the brand is known for, offered in the following themes:
- The Catch & Cook Kit features a fish tackle tin, fire striker kit, wire saw and a compass endcap.
- The Fix Kit includes a sewing kit, whistle, trail tape (for first aid/fabric repairs), zip ties, gear twists (reusable rubber zip ties), and a carabiner endcap.
- The Ready Kit includes a razor blade, wire saw, paracord and rope, and compass endcap.
- The Mini Utility Light includes a four-mode LED flashlight with multi-purpose tape, two bamboo cloths and an empty tin housed inside that offers everyday necessities in minimal form.
