In UCO’s continuing commitment to sustainability, it is debuting its ECO 5-Piece Mess Kit made from post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste at the Big Gear Show and OR Summer Market.

The Kit is made from recovered, recycled polypropylene and features a sealed locking lid, matching spoon and bowl radius, 4-in-1 ECO Switch Spork utensil set, shock cord tether, and locking tab on either end. The kit is microwaveable and dishwasher safe.

“Every year, countless tons of plastic, that should be recycled, end up making its way into landfills or, worst of all, entering the environment, polluting it for centuries to come,” said Craig Frazee, design engineer, UCO. “Continuing our commitment to seeking sustainable solutions, UCO’s new ECO option gives reclaimed and recycled polypropylene a second life by transforming post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste into FDA-food safe UCO ware.”

ECO’s 5-Piece Mess Kit will be available at retail in September. For more product information, go here.

UCO is showing the kit at the Big Gear Show, Booth #520 and OR Summer Market, Booth #47023-UL.
