GCI Outdoor will showcase it’s latest outdoor rocker technology this week at OR Summer Market* for Spring 2022. Its ComPack Rocker, shown below right, features its Torsion Rocking Technology, which uses a cylindrical design for lightweight rocking.
“Our engineering team has been hard at work building out our line of rocking chairs and to see that work culminates in our proprietary Torsion Rocking Technology is really exciting,” said Jeff Polke, co-founder, GCI Outdoor. “We anticipate Spring 2022 being an important season for us with new additions across multiple product categories. The uptick in outdoor participation, as of late, bodes well for the industry, and we’re excited to keep up the momentum.”
Its Spring 2022 lineup includes:
- ComPack Rocker, designed to keep in the car or throw in a backpack, features include patent-pending Torsion Rocking Technology that offers a smooth relaxed rock, shock cord retention, sets up and breaks down quickly, and fits into a small pouch with a carry strap.
- Freestyle Rocker XL, is based on its Freestyle Rocker, features a broader and tougher frame (400lb weight capacity), and is designed with its patented Spring-Action Rocking Technology for rocking smoothly on grass, gravel or sand. The rocker opens and closes easily and has a carry handle. Also features a mesh backrest, beverage holder and phone pocket.
- Freestyle Rocker with Side Table and Freestyle Rocker XL with Side Table also includes the company’s Spring-Action Rocking Technology. The XL comes with a broader seat and backrest and 400lb weight capacity. The side table has a phone holder and deep cup holders in two sizes. Both chairs feature a carry handle, mesh backrest and Eazy-Fold technology.
- Using Legz Up technology, first introduced as part of its Freeform Zero Gravity Lounger, the Legz Up Lounger offers a built-in leg rest and mesh backrest moveable to one of four positions. It also includes a head pillow, beverage holder, phone pocket, and backpack straps for portability.
- Slim-Fold Table opens to approximately 24.2″ x 54.3″x 26.8” and seats up to five people. The design allows for half of the table to remain folded. The heat-resistant aluminum tabletop can hold up to 125 pounds, and the slim-fold design allows for quick and easy transport with carrying handles.
- Slim-Fold Table XL, with an open size of approximately 30″x 60.8″x30″, seats up to six people or serves as a large prep station. Keep half the table folded if the full table isn’t in use. Features a heat-resistant aluminum tabletop that can hold up to 125 lbs, and folds quickly for easy transport with carry handles.
