Fieldsheer, a technology company that manufactures temperature-controlled apparel under the Mobile Warming and Mobile Cooling brands, reported it is the official cooling and heated apparel partner of Meyer Shank Racing (MSR). Under the terms of the multi-year partnership, Fieldsheer will provide all Meyer Shank Racing team members and crew with clothing from both lines to wear as weather dictates during race season.

Race season started in early February and goes through to the end of September; during those months, temperatures range from the low mid-40s up to the mid-90s. Fieldshield will supply the apparel from the team and crew to stay as comfortable as temperatures fluctuate.

Meyer Shank Racing is an American auto racing organization that competes in the NTT IndyCar Series and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Among their drivers are Helio Castroneves, a four-time winner of the Indianapolis 500, and Simon Pagenaud, who won the Indianapolis 500 in 2019 and the 2016 IndyCar Championship.

Mobile Warming and Mobile Cooling apparel will be an official part of the team’s workwear and emblazoned with all sponsorships for the season.

“We’re very excited to welcome Fieldsheer to the MSR team,” said MSR Co-Owner, Mike Shank. “As a team, we travel to so many different places and in all different climates. Having Fieldsheer’s technology with Mobile Warming and Mobile Cooling apparel allows our team to work at our full potential without having to worry about the elements.”

According to Patrick Deighan, director of E-Commerce and Marketing for Fieldsheer, Meyer Shank Racing chose Fieldsheer apparel “largely based on a quality that both companies value highly: technical performance.”

“Technical performance is critical in auto racing, especially considering the level at which MSR competes,” he said. “This requires best-in class-personnel and equipment and the huge support system that allows them to function at the highest level. We take pride in the technical performance of our apparel. Whether it’s the Bluetooth heated jackets, base layers and batteries in our Mobile Warming line or the fabric that forms the foundation of our Mobile Cooling products, our apparel performs in the harshest environmental conditions.”
