With a shared interest in conservation, Costa and Safe Harbor will also work hand in hand to protect and preserve waterways – while fostering a culture of exploration among boaters and water enthusiasts. Both brands have a long history of water conservation, including their work reducing the amount of single use plastics found in our waterways and partnering with like-minded conservation organizations for the research and protection of marine life.
“Both of our brands, Safe Harbor and Costa, are synonymous with life on the water. We both have a longstanding mission to help our communities find adventure, as well as a shared commitment to ocean conservation – that is why this partnership feels like a perfect match,” says Jed Larkin, Brand Marketing Director for Costa. “We are looking forward to working together to protect marine environments and support our communities in making more sustainable choices on the water.”
Costa and Safe Harbor Marinas will celebrate its new partnership at the San Diego International Boat Show, June 20-23, at Safe Harbor Sunroad. Onsite, consumers will have the opportunity to test Costa’s newest product innovation and learn about the partnership on a sailing trip around the marina. Additional events will take place throughout the year at various Safe Harbor Marina locations with the goal of bringing the water community together, including the upcoming Safe Harbor Race Weekend in Newport, RI, August 9-11.
