Petaluma, CA, August 6, 2020 – CamelBak®, the global leader in award-winning personal hydration products, announces the introduction of Tritan Renew, a 50% recycled material, into the brand’s everyday bottle collection for the first time in spring 2021. The collections made with Tritan Renew include Eddy® +, Chute® Mag, Chute® Mag Kids, Carry Cap and Eddy® + Kids and consist of 81 total skus.

“The call to climate action asks for continued innovation and unique sustainable solutions, especially from brands that connect us with the outdoors,” said CamelBak Director of Product Management, Hard Goods Phil Notheis. “We will continue to evolve our most sustainable products, knowing we can always do better. Introducing a 50% recycled material in our best selling bottles while maintaining durable integrity is something we’re thrilled to provide to our consumers.”

Tritan Renew is a Polyester Renewal Technology (PRT) manufactured by Eastman, which is a more efficient process and produces material that is made with 50% recycled content. Tritan Renew is highly durable, dishwasher safe, and free of BPA, BPS, and BPF chemicals. Polyester Renewal Technology (PRT) breaks plastic waste down into its monomer building blocks, creating new copolyester plastic without any compromise.

Tritan Renew will be available in Eddy® +, Chute® Mag, Chute® Mag Kids, Carry Cap and Eddy® + Kids in spring 2021 on camelbak.com and at CamelBak retail partners.
