Pickleball Kingdom is opening a new franchise club in Tigard, OR in late summer 2025. This 42,000-square-foot facility will feature 13 professional-grade indoor pickleball courts led by Gunn Robison.

As with all Pickleball Kingdom member clubs, the Tigard, OR location will also include professional coaching and clinics, youth programs, leagues and tournaments, community and corporate events.

“We are excited to be joining the Portland pickleball community, which is very well-established and growing every day,” said Robison. “Building a state-of-the-art indoor pickleball facility in an area like Portland is something we have been looking at for a long time. We finally have found the right space and location to bring a location to Tigard. We look forward to joining this passionate community of players across all skill levels while continuing to grow the community and sport in the Portland area.”

“The Portland area is very passionate about pickleball but has a real need for more courts, especially indoor courts,” Robison added. “Opening our facility in Tigard with 13 indoor courts and 42,000 square feet of space will provide year-round opportunities for pickleball players in the region in perfect conditions. We look forward to building a great facility and gathering place for the Portland pickleball community.”

Before joining with Pickleball Kingdom, Robison spent 25 years working in technology sales and marketing, most recently as the vice president of Marketing at Microsoft. Gunn and his wife are both graduates of the University of Washington and have three adult children. Their deep ties to the region and commitment to community make them ideal partners to open a new Pickleball Kingdom club in the region.

“We are incredibly excited to expand into the Portland area and bring Pickleball Kingdom to Tigard,” said Ace Rodrigues, founder and CEO of Pickleball Kingdom. “Portland has a thriving pickleball community, and we are committed to providing players with a world-class indoor facility where they can enjoy the game year-round. This location will be a game-changer for the region.”
