Longtime industry associates Phenix skiwear and Bogner of America are teaming up to strengthen both companies. Phenix and Bogner recently signed a service agreement designed to help Phenix cut operational expenses and enhance Bogner’s bottom line.

Bogner, with 40 years experience in the North American marketplace, will provide logistics management, customer service and operational administration for the Phenix brand in the US and Canada. Warehousing and shipping will be handled out of Newport, VT in the US and Coaticook, Quebec for Canada. Both sides concur that for the Phenix customer, the change will be imperceptible.

The service agreement enables Phenix to reduce operational expenses by achieving cost savings through the economies of scale offered by Bogner’s state-of-the-art logistics, customer service and operational administrative departments. Better still, the service agreement enables Phenix staff in San Francisco to fully focus their energies on sales and marketing in the US and Canada. Leading that effort is Maria Costelloe, Operations Manager; Mike Maxson, Sales Manager and Derek Wiseman, VP of Marketing and Sales.

“We see this synergy as a natural extension of an already successful working relationship between the two companies in Japan,” said Wiseman. He explained that Phenix began marketing Bogner in Japan in 1967 and remains the exclusive Japanese licensee of Bogner branded skiwear.
