PGA Tour Superstore will open a store in Jacksonville.

The store is located at 4906 Town Center Parkway in Jacksonville at The Strand, across the street from the St. Johns Town Center.

“At PGA Tour Superstore, it’s all about the customer.  We are dedicated to creating a fun experience in our stores to help people play their best and enjoy this great game of golf,” said PGA Tour Superstore President and CEO Dick Sullivan.

“PGA Tour Superstore has proven to be tremendously successful in the cities it has entered throughout the country, and we are thrilled that it has finally arrived in the Jacksonville market,” said PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan. “It truly has revolutionized golf retailing by focusing on game improvement and giving recreational golfers access to high-tech swing analysis, professional instruction and equipment choices comparable to what PGA Tour players have.”

The Grand Opening event will take place Saturday, November 4 with doors opening at 9 a.m. and $30,000 in giveaways to the first guests in line, including: sets of irons, drivers, fairway woods, wedges and putters.  In addition, range finders, golf bags, men’s and women’s apparel.

“We are committed to inspire all types of golfers – from beginners to avid players – and promise that we will help them improve their game. The Jacksonville area is home to some of our industry’s best organizations including the PGA Tour, World Golf Foundation, The First Tee and just down the road the LPGA; we are excited to become a part of this world class golf community,” added Sullivan.

PGA Tour Superstore is also teeing up with The First Tee of North Florida and will make a $15,000 charitable donation to the organization to help support its mission to provide youth with education programs that instill life-enhancing values, foster golf skills and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

The 25,00- square-foot facility in Jacksonville will employ approximately 40 associates and marks the company’s fourth PGA Tour Superstore Florida location joining Delray Beach, Naples and Orlando.
