Peak, the Chinese athletic apparel brand, appeared as an official partner in the 2015 Eurobasket Championship which started from Sept. 5, where it is also sponsoring the national teams from Serbia, the first Basketball World Cup runner-up, Germany, Israel and other European basketball national teams.
Peak's sponsored athletes Tony Parker, the French legendary player with four NBA championships, and Milos Teodosic, will both lead their national teams in the European tournament.
“We hope that more and more basketball fans in Europe will know and love Peak through this European tournament especially through Tony Parker and Milos Teodosic,” said Peak CEO Xu Zhihua “Europe has become the first major overseas market foro Peak and our goal is to become the top three sports brand there.”
Peak began to work with European basketball 13 years ago. At that time, Peak was the official sponsor of the all star games of the European championship league as a beach head for into international expansion. In the past 10 years, by signing Serbia, Montenegro, Germany and other European top teams, as well as super stars like Tony Parker, Peak is gaining increasing popularity in Europe and establishing sales networks throughout Europe.
As of Dec. 31, 2014, Peak sales volume outside China had reached nearly $100 million and Europe has become the largest overseas market to Peak, surpassing the Asia-Pacific region. Peak is the flagship brand of Peak Sport Products Co., Limited.
