Pacific Trail is moving overseas, and signing a new Japanese licensing agreement with Ingram Co., Ltd. The agreement gives Ingram the rights to manage and oversee the design, development and marketing of Pacific Trail outerwear and apparel.

A men’s apparel line is slated to be launched in the Fall/Winter 2004 season, with a women’s collection following in the same season of 2005.

“The Japanese market is a significant opportunity for us and continues to embrace an active, outdoor lifestyle,” said Gary Hansen, President of Pacific Trail.

According to Hansen, Ingram's proven expertise in growing businesses for a variety of brands, combined with the ability to carry Pacific Trail's outdoor recreational lifestyle brand position into the Japanese market make them an ideal partner.

“This agreement allows Pacific Trail to firmly establish a brand presence in the Japanese market, and strengthens Pacific Trail's goal of becoming a global provider of authentic recreational outerwear,” said Hansen.
