Outdoor Retailer shared details for several events during the four-day show, January 25-28, 2018. The Inspiration Awards and Industry Party will take place on evening one; the Fashion Show and Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks concert at Red Rocks will be on evening two. The Night of Stoke will continue the festivities on evening three. For the first time in the show’s history, the public is invited to the Fashion Show/concert and the Night of Stoke.
On Thursday, January 25 at 6 p.m., Adidas Outdoor will present the Inspiration Awards at the Colorado Convention Center. The event honors individuals, groups and companies whose efforts go above and beyond in inspiring and encouraging others in their communities to enjoy, participate in and support outdoor activities. Following the Inspiration Awards, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic will headline the Industry Party, sponsored by W.L. Gore & Associates, at Temple Nightclub in Denver. The party starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are free, but an Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show badge is required for entry.
On Friday, January 26, Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show is partnering with Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks to bring the Fashion Show to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday, January 26. The Fashion Show starts at 7 p.m. and Outdoor Retailer will provide free shuttles to and from Red Rocks. The theme of the Fashion Show is The Whole Mountain – celebrating the outdoor and snow communities coming together. The night will kick off with the Fashion Show, featuring DJ Matt Cassidy, followed by JUAZ and Mac Miller. Discounted ticket information will be available in January.
Saturday, January 27 Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show will welcome Backcountry Film Festival’s “Night of Stoke” to the Bellco at the Colorado Convention Center. The night’s program features the Adventure Not War project founded by Stacy Bare to promote world peace and understanding through adventure. Backcountry Film Festival’s Night of Stoke will be open to the public and tickets will be available in January.
