Jalex Holdings, a Denver, CO-based private investment firm, has sold Ouray Sportswear LLC to an affiliate of CenterGate Capital, a private equity firm based in Austin, TX.

Integris Partners advised Jalex Holdings on the deal, whose financial terms weren’t disclosed.

The investment creates a strategic partnership between Ouray and TSC Apparel, a CenterGate portfolio company that distributes imprintable apparel. The strategic partnership combines TSC’s national reach with Ouray’s premium products and capabilities.

Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Denver, CO, Ouray is an elite designer, decorator, and distributor of customized casual apparel and headwear serving over 4,000 customers in the destination resort, collegiate, golf, private label, and large-format retail marketplaces.

“For decades, Ouray has set the standard for quality decorated apparel and headwear in the resort market; specifically in the Rocky Mountain region. Jalex invested heavily in building out a nationwide footprint, establishing the brand in the collegiate and golf markets, and developing a highly efficient, technology-driven operating model. Integris was instrumental in allowing us to realize the value that we had worked so hard to build,” said Ryan Harrington, Partner at Jalex Holdings.

Jon Boris of Jalex added, “Integris ran an efficient process that yielded a tremendous outcome for Jalex and a strategic partner for Ouray that positions the company to continue to expand its market presence. The Integris team’s knowledge of our business and industry, attention to detail, and total dedication to our transaction throughout the process, were all crucial to attaining this result.”
