Orion Wholesale, a distributor in the hunting and shooting sports space, promoted Matt Nicholson to vice president of sales.
Nicholson is now responsible for sales team leadership, expanding new sales territories, developing new distribution channels and contributing to the company’s marketing and business strategies, reporting to CEO Brent Taylor.
Before joining Orion as VP of sales, Nicholson led the sales teams at Davidson’s and Ammo, Inc.
“Matt has a strong background in leading large sales teams in the shooting sports industry. He has a deep knowledge of the firearms industry and what it takes to deliver client success,” said Taylor. “As Orion continues its rapid growth, Matt’s sales leadership and background in building top-performing sales teams will expand Orion’s product portfolio.
