OnCore Innovations (OI), the golf technology company, announced the expansion of its advisory board to include seasoned executives and industry leaders to bring GENiUS Ball, the company’s smart golf ball, to market.
The new members have extensive golf, sports marketing, technology, and business strategy expertise, joining previously announced advisor Fred Port, former president of Callaway Golf International. They include:
- Tom Park, who brings leadership experience from Disney, Belkin and Sears Holdings, played a key role in growing Belkin’s revenue to $1 billion in under five years. He also spearheaded the launch of Kenmore and DieHard brands on Amazon and helped negotiate Craftsman’s $900 million sale.
- Tina Mickelson, a PGA Class A Member since 1994, advocates for growing the game of golf, particularly for women. As the Ambassador for Women’s Golf at The Santaluz Club, she also serves as a spokesperson for Callaway Golf and is an on-course commentator and contributor to Dr. Deepak Chopra’s “Golf for Enlightenment.”
- Michael Galeski, an “expert in sports marketing and event management,” served as chief operating officer at Ikonik Golf and was a senior VP of Sports Marketing at Callaway Golf, where he managed a $50 million global budget and secured over 300 endorsement deals. His experience includes directing global sports marketing at UL and organizing major golf events, including the Encompass Championship.
- Paul Spengler, executive vice president at Pebble Beach Company, has been pivotal in hosting multiple U.S. Open Championships and shaping Pebble Beach as a worldwide golf destination. His golf operations and event management expertise strengthens OnCore’s strategic direction.
“The addition of these world-class advisors further validates the disruptive potential of the GENiUS Ball and its ability to revolutionize the golf industry,“ said Richard Stamper, chief revenue officer of OI. “Their collective expertise will help accelerate our mission of making advanced performance data accessible to every golfer.”
OnCore Innovations plans to launch its GENiUS Ball in Q4 2025, offering golfers a new way to engage with performance data.
