Olympia Sports announced that Carlene Kurowski, merchandise manager, and Tim Adams, general merchandise manager, have been appointed to its executive staff.
Kurowski joined Olympia Sports in 1992. She has held various position in the field and in the Store Support Center. She was recently promoted from Softgoods DMM to Merchandise Manager. Kurowski will oversee all aspects of the softgoods business as well as the company’s visual merchandising efforts.
Adams joined the company in 1995. He has also held various positions in the field and at the Store Support Center. He was recently promoted from Footwear DMM to General Merchandise Manager. Adams will oversee the entire merchandising department and be responsible for all buying, planning and distribution.
“Tim and Carlene have played major roles in our past successes and this appointment is well earned.” says Olympia Sports President Ed Manganello, “Their addition to the management table adds 35 years of experience to an already mature leadership team.
