Ogio International Inc. announced golf retail veteran, Chris Ross, as the most recent addition to its expanding company direct employed sales team. This is part of an ongoing initiative to add top quality talent to all internal divisions including sales, product and marketing to continue its four-year growth streak in the golf industry.

Ross  had worked for Golfsmith.

Were excited to welcome Chris [Ross] to the Ogio team to help support our goal of bringing golf enthusiasts top-of-the-line gear. As an avid golfer with a past in buying, selling, and merchandizing, he offers a unique blend of both personal and professional expertise to our company, says Tom Gocke, global vice president of Ogio. He brings an invaluable knowledge of the holistic strategies that are required to make our retail partners successful, and hes exactly the kind of individual we hope to find more of at Ogio.

In a golf industry where many companies are reporting struggles, Ogio continues to buck the trend with significant market share gains in 2014, reporting growth of nearly 30 percent through the first eight months of the year and future orders accelerating beyond that. Ogios growth continues to outpace the industry over the past 4 years, adding over $35MM to its golf product specific revenue.

The brand of choice for PGA Tour veterans Kevin Streelman, Aaron Baddeley, Chris Stroud and many other of golfs top superstars, Ogios growth has been anchored in its most recognized collections of uniquely fashioned golf and travel bags, combined with its now sixth season of continued rapid expansion of its progressive apparel collection and a pioneering shoe collection that has just hit the retail shelves.
